Palm Beach County Ed Tech Conference 2009

is today and these are the featured speakers we brought in. Just take a look! How amazing is this, for our little district? Ok, not so little, but still!!

We've got (left to right) Steve Dembo, Kate Kemker, David Warlick, Karl Fisch, Mark Benno and Dean Shareski.

I'm so excited to have all of these incredibly, powerfully knowledgeable people in one venue and OUR venue yet!! If they were all sitting on a single panel, what would question/topic would you like to hear them discuss with each other?

Perhaps we could get some of them to jump in here as well.

(I will jump back in here later and add more details and hyperlinks.)

My question would be:
Did you know how to share(ski) 2 cents evenly amongst 21st Century Learners using Quicktime with Discovery Learning?

Hi all! My question is this: How would you convince a small, K-6, low SES, high ELD, "program improvement" school district (that is 5+ years behind most other districts on technology) that they need to commit money and resources to getting on the ball and joining the 21st century? Thanks!!

What do expect Education to look like in five years???

Well done Gordon Shupe. Couldn't say it any better.

What did you eat for lunch? (I haven't had dinner yet!)

So, how was it in the end? These five guys are incredible speakers, each and every one of them.

My question would be:

Are any of you coming to the Ed2020 'un-conference' on Islay in June?

@Gordon
Awesome!! How clever!!

@Andrew
Unfortunately, I did not get to sit in on any of the sessions myself (looking forward to the recordings) but the feedback I've received so far has far exceeded that which we've ever received before. I'm thrilled and haven't yet had a chance to hear from the others. :)
