Blogging at FETC 2013

If you are a fellow blogger it may interest you to know that media representatives interested in covering can attend at no cost as registered press. FETC is scheduled for January 28-31, 2013.

With permission, I have reproduced the entire text of a recent email sent to me by Adrianne Miller, FETC 2013 Media Relations Coordinator.

FETC 2013, the 33rd annual national conference devoted entirely to education technology, is just [around the corner]. Media representatives interested in covering FETC 2013 can attend at no cost as registered press.

In order to gain press access, applicants must submit their request for credentials at or register on-site during the conference in the Press Room (though registering in advance online is faster and easier than on-site, plus we’ll have your badge awaiting your arrival).

Registered press will have access to a contact list, fact sheet, news releases, conference graphics and the on-site Press Room. Media representatives will not be admitted into any FETC venues without a badge issued by FETC press staff. The FETC 2013 Press Room will give media representatives a place to schedule interviews, work stories or just relax. The Press Room will be open Tuesday, Jan. 29 (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.); Wednesday, Jan. 30 (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.); and Thursday, Jan. 31 (8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.).

FETC 2013 is the ultimate place for educators to explore new and current technologies being employed in the classroom through hands-on labs and demonstrations. FETC will feature 200 concurrent and “BYODâ€? sessions and more than 80 professional development workshops focusing on hot-topic areas including the latest resources and techniques-wikis, blogs, social networking, virtual learning, podcasting and more.

For more information on FETC 2013, including a detailed list of sessions, exhibitors and ticketed workshops and attendee registration information, visit www.fetc.org. For media-specific information or to request press credentials, go to www.fetc.org and click the “For Mediaâ€? button or go to .
