The Last Explainer Video You Will Ever Need on Cyberbullying
Below is another great video from my favorite explainer, Lee LeFever. This one addresses cyberbullying and he does a great job encouraging students to be upstanders and to call out bullies.
Show this to your students and ask what the video leaves out. Have your students create a "CommonCraft"-like video of their own. It's pretty easy and they can (should) do it in groups.
Application in the Classroom
Real World ApplicationHave them posted online where others can benefit from their message.
Next, promote your students' blogs via Facebook and Twitter and Instagram. Don't be shy about asking your social media connections to take a look and leave a constructive comment or two. Here's an example of how I did this with my students a few years back (topic: weather). If those videos don't load try this direct link to one of the videos.
