Some Pics From The Conference

The pictures from the conference are up in Flickr now and although I didn't get all the pics I would have liked, I did get a few. I wish I had been in a few more breakout sessions to get other presenters and participants, and I wish I had captured some of those moments when teachers were collaborating on what sessions to attend. Alas, of the few pictures I did capture, one of my favorites is this one of Hall Davidson. I'm pretty sure he is demonstrating how to tell if a grapefruit is ripe. I'm just not clear on why...

Another fav is this one of me and Bonnie. Bonnie and I taught together many, many years ago and, besides being a very loyal friend, she has attended every one of our conferences. She is a GREAT teacher and she is now a grandmother! That's Bonnie on the left and me on the right.

And last, this pic is a fav because at the end of an exhausting day, at the closing session when everyone is tired and thirsty and wants to go home, they are still hanging on till the very end. Look at this picture of the closing session. We had a PACKED auditorium! Ok, so that's when we gave away the coolest door prizes, but still. People were smiling even when they didn't win!

Hey Lurker,
Thanks for coming out from behind the curtain. Let's not forget to compliment how well the BREAKOUT SESSIONS were run! Great job on that! :)

Hey, that vendor hall looks pretty impressive too. How do you guys do all of this? AND keep up with all your other projects? Mighty impressive if you ask me.
