Karl Fisch does it again! This time he envisions "a time in the not-too-distant future when the world is significantly different - and hopefully schools are as well." This presentation takes the form of a graduation commencement speech in the year 2020. The "speaker" takes the "students" on a trip down memory lane beginning with the year 2007. Not intended to be true predictions, he has great insight into what could well be the future of education, politics, and basically, the world. It's a fascinating trip trying to imagine the possibilities during his 15 min. video, but more fascinating to think about how we are preparing our students (or are we?) for whatever the "2020 Vision" turns out to be! If you're like me, you'll watch it a few times. Hey, in a few years, you may even be multitasking while viewing Karl's future videos using your "eyemagine!"
